Artist Monti Ladd;

Monti earned her Bachelor in Visual Arts degree from the University of North Dakota graduating Summa Cum Laude in 1982. Although she was trained in oils and fine art silkscreen, she started her art career as freelance commercial artist. During this time, she designed logos for charities and non profit organizations, such as the Reach Out Program for Handicapped Adults.

Monti moved to Southern California in 1983 and continued to work as a freelance artist and designer. Her desire to create fine art prompted a change in her career in 1998 when she began painting canvases for private clients. It was the encouragement of one of her clients that expanded her painting to wall murals and eventually stone tile murals.

Today Monti is a successful tile artist and has created over 200 stone tile murals to date. She enjoys working with her clients to design murals exclusively for them. The wide range of subject matter that she can capture in paint makes her art popular with many clients throughout the country.
